Reserving items at your library

If a library item that you want is not immediately available, you can reserve it and have it delivered to a library of your choice.

DVDS to borrow from library

You can ask for library books or other items to be obtained for you if they are not immediately available - there may be a small charge for this service. When the item is ready for you to collect, we let you know via a text message, e-mail or automated phone message.

You can check our on-line catalogue for items which we stock and reserve them for yourself online - you will need to know your library membership number and PIN. You will be able to choose which library to collect the items at.

You can also request books and journal articles which are not in our catalogue and we will do our best to obtain them for you. We may buy the title, or we may obtain it from another library service for you to borrow; there may be an additional charge for the latter service. We regret that there are no interloan facilities for CDs and DVDs.

You may find the following on-line catalogues helpful in tracking down the details of items that you are interested in:

To reserve an item not on the catalogue, please contact one of our libraries; if you are a library member this can be done by telephone or electronically (via e-mail or using our feedback form), otherwise you will need to visit a library to join first.
