Adopted Highways Register

Use this application to identify whether a highway within Nottingham City is maintained by the Council.

• This application allows you to investigate which roads, streets, footpaths and adjacent verges are 'adopted' and are therefore the responsibility of Nottingham City Council in terms of maintenance and repair.
• This helps to fulfil the Council's requirement under section 36 of the Highways Act 1980 to keep a register of streets which are "...highways maintainable at the public expense." And that "...may be inspected by any person..."
