Before applying

Please note, that we no longer accept planning applications by email. Our preferred method of submission is online through the Planning Portal. Alternatively, you can also submit by post.
However, if you are applying under the prior approval scheme, and your application type is not available on the Planning Portal, we will accept these by email.

Application Fees

Fee payments for applications submitted through the planning portal can be made using the portal’s financial transaction service. 

For applications submitted by post, we accept payment by card over the phone. We also accept payment by bank transfer, by prior arrangement. Please call 0115 8764447.

We do not accept payment for planning application fees by cash or cheque.
