Notice of Substantial Road Works for Road Purposes

Notice is hereby given that Nottingham City Council intends to carry out substantial works for road purposes in Nottingham City Centre.

Subject to exemptions in the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and regulations under it, no Street Works may be executed within the prescribed restriction period.

The Streets in which these works will take place are:

• Canal Street, City Centre, Nottingham (USRN 29000740). (From junction of London Road to junction of Trent Street on the south side)

Works will affect substantial areas of:  Carriageway / verge

Works are expected to commence on:  1^st July 2022

Proposed completion date:  14th July 2022

Dated:  2^nd February 2022

Restriction period: 36 months (14^th July 2025)
