Build your computer confidence in this fun and interactive six-week beginner’s course

Thursday 7, 14, 21, 28 November and 5, 12 December, 4pm to 6pm

An introduction to computer programming concepts that will build your skills and knowledge, making it possible for you to design and write simple computer programmes.

You will learn:

  • how computers work and how we use them in the digital world
  • an introduction to Scratch programming
  • Word processing, spreadsheets and operating systems such as Windows and Linux
  • how to create a basic web-page using HTML and CSS
  • to explore Python programming using Raspberry Pi’s and much more

If you’ve never seen or worked with programming languages before and always wanted to, then this course is for you! Basic experience of using computers and web browsers is required.
