When you or your builder has notified us that the work is completed, and a satisfactory final inspection has been made, we will issue a formal certificate of completion to show that the work complies with building regulations.
Completion certificates were not issued prior to 1995 and not routinely issued until the early 2000s and so will not be on file.
If you wish to obtain a copy of a completion certificate that was issued after 1995 we require you to complete a Completion Certificate Request Form we also require a fee of £10.00 inclusive of VAT to cover administration costs.
Please note we are unable to provide certificates for any work completed by an Approved Inspector. We are also unable to provide certificates for any work carried out through the Competent Person Scheme. This includes, but is not limited to, the following.
- Gas installations,
- Electrical work
- Certain types of windows
- Cavity walls
- Installation of wood burning stoves
