Could you be our new Early Years Funding Assistant?

We are recruiting to the post of Early Years Funding Assistant to support the Early Years Funding Co-ordinator and primarily, the management of IT systems and processes associated with the statutory early years entitlements funding for childcare providers in the maintained and non-maintained sector.  

The successful candidate will be critical in ensuring accurate payments to providers for these early years entitlements, will assist with the organisation and facilitation of Early Years Provider Briefings and training and have the chance to be involved with an exciting variety of events and programmes facilitated by the wider team. 

We are looking for someone who has...

• The ability to communicate effectively to a variety of customers, both internally and externally, at different business levels 
• Knowledge of IT systems and their application
• Awareness of finance and funding processes
• Organisation and prioritisations skills
• Extensive experience of Microsoft Excel
