For Headteachers and those responsible for submitting the termly headcount on the Early Years Portal

Ahead of the new financial year, we thought it would be a good opportunity to share up to date funding information and a reminder on how to submit accurate portal claims to ensure schools receive accurate funding including EYPP.

We will share:

• the new funding rates and an example of what this would look like using the base rate and including potential EYPP and deprivation supplements to compare the importance of claiming these correctly.
• the common mistakes when submitting headcount claims, meaning schools may not be receiving maximum funding
• a reminder of the new entitlements
• an opportunity to ask any questions in relation to the above (any specific school funding queries will be followed up by our school funding colleagues and responded to after the briefings)
