Nottingham City PVI DSL Network

Network Length: 2 ½ hours

Network Leaders: Overseen by the NCSCP and led by the Safeguarding Service Manager and Guest Speakers

Audience: Specifically for Nottingham City PVI Practitioners (Day Nurseries and Preschools)

Fee per delegate: Free of charge for Nottingham City PVI Settings

Network Summary:  The PVCI DSL Network is free to attend for Nottingham City DSLs and overseen by the Nottingham City Safeguarding Children Partnership (NCSCP). Featuring regular guest speakers the network provides valuable information to ensure all DSLs are kept up to date with current issues and developments.

Attendance to the Network is for the primary DSL of the setting.  If you are part of a larger setting, please contact the Early Years Team for more information.

The aims of the network are to:

·         Develop and enhance safeguarding practices and processes across the Early Years sector

·         Improve communication between the Early Years  sector and the Safeguarding Children Board

·         Provide support to DSL’s in their role as a DSL
