EYFS SEND Support Workers
The EYFS SEND Support Workers in the Early Years Team are Mel Foulston and Sam Caig and they are the main point of contact for any PVI Early Years Setting with concerns regarding children with SEND.
The support available includes;
- Solution Circle Approach, via email, regarding any concerns or questions relating to children with SEND
- Support Visits to offer specific strategies to support inclusive practice and promote inclusion for children accessing their 2, 3 and 4-year-old early years' entitlement places
- Support with SEND Funding Applications and moderation
- Provision of SENCO Training and facilitation of the SENCO Network to support CPD (Discussions are also available on any bespoke or specific training needs)
