Last updated 19th July 2021- A phased approach to ease restrictions in England
Birth Registrations are continuing for the time being at Loxley House, Station Street, Nottingham by prior appointment only. You may book an appointment online or over the phone to register your baby and you will be sent the guidelines to follow which include wearing face coverings and bringing your own black pen to sign. Please also bring a bank card to pay for your certificates- we do not accept cash and currently cannot take payment using a mobile phone or Apple Pay. Please also note that unmarried fathers must not attend the Registration alone- if you are not married to each other the baby’s mother must also be in attendance. If you are married then only one person needs to attend.
Weddings and Civil Partnerships continue although numbers of guests attending are still slightly reduced until at least 1st September. Please check with the office as to the number allowed in your ceremony.
The City Council still strongly encourages the use and wearing of Face coverings for the safety of their guests and the Register Office team
