Armed Forces - Children and Families Services

Families offer considerable support to those serving, or those who have served in the armed forces. There are specific initiatives under the Armed Forces Covenant to support family life in the armed forces and for veteran families.

Armed Forces Education Trust - working for children and young adults whose education has been compromised or put at risk as a result of parents’ past or current service in our Armed Forces.

Directorate of Children and Young People - was established in 2010 to provide a single Ministry of Defence (MOD) focus for all issues related to service children and young people.
