End-users tools to empower and raise awareness of behavioural change towards energy efficiency
eTEACHER is a European project that aims to reduce energy consumption through more conscious energy behaviour of energy end-users in a wide range of buildings. eTEACHER wants to raise the energy awareness of building users by tailored methods and strategies
eTEACHER aims to empower building end-users to achieve energy savings and improve comfort for the sake of health and wellbeing. The project will develop intervention strategies according to cultural and demographic indicators. The project takes place in 12 different demo sites located in three European countries with different climatic conditions.
eTEACHER is funded by Horizon 2020 EU Innovation Action and involves 12 partner organizations active in 6 different European countries. The project started in October 2017 and lasts for three years.
In Nottingham we are using the iconic Council House building, and Djanogly Academies Trust, City Academy building as a pilot sites
Nottingham is participating alongside the Lead partner, CEMOSA based in Spain, as well as other partners from across Europe, Spain, Romania, Germany, Finland, and Italy.
The project is partly funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, with a total budget of €1.996M of this budget, €187,667 euros has been allocated to NCC for the duration of the project.
