Home Information for Residents Education and Schools School Admissions Consultation on Proposed Admission Arrangements 2024/2025

Nottingham City Council is consulting on a proposal to change the 2024/2025 admission arrangements for community schools.

These arrangements are for pupils who will be starting school for the first time in the 2024 autumn term or changing from one school to another from September 2024.

Community schools in Nottingham are the ones which Nottingham City Council is the admission authority for. This means that the Council is responsible for offering or refusing places at these schools.

The consultation period on these admission arrangements runs from 12th October 2022 to 23rd   November 2022 inclusive.

The only changes to the arrangements from those determined previously are to amend:

  1. the published admission number for Dovecote Primary School from 60 to 30.

No further changes to the arrangements are proposed.
