Anti-Social Behaviour
As a result of the high number of rough sleepers, there have been instances of anti-social behaviour reported. Nottingham City Council is working with partner organisations to try to resolve this city-wide issue, in the car parks we have increased security and security patrols to stop people sleeping in the stairwells and added additional CCTV. We are also looking at other options to stop rough sleepers from gaining access and using our car parks inappropriately and provide them with support and guidance. Blue Badge Parking
The provision of free parking for Blue Badge holders no longer applies to Trinity Square Car Park, Blue Badge bays will continue to be provided but normal parking charges will apply.
There are Blue Badge parking spaces in other locations that enable Blue Badge holder’s to park for free for up to 4hrs in Curzon Street, Sneinton Market Square, Nottingham Arena, Motorpoint Arena (3hrs free parking) and Nottingham Castle Car Parks, in on-street parking bays and park on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours.
