Making a Representation in relation to a Premises Licence
Here you will find information on how to make a representation in relation to applications for New Premises Licences, a Variation of an existing Premises Licence or a Club Premises Certificate made under the Licensing Act 2003. Your representation has to be based on the grounds of at least one of the four licensing objectives.
Licensing Act 2003. On this page you will find the Licensing Objectives
Only the following may make a representation:
- An individual
- A body/person representing other persons
If your representation cannot be resolved by negotiation then a licensing panel hearing will be necessary. This will normally be held at Nottingham City Council, Loxley House, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3NG. You will be invited to attend and be given full information about the hearing process prior to the hearing.
Representations must be received within 28 days from the day after the licensing authority receives the application. Notices on this web site, at the premises and an advert in the local paper should provide this date.
Before making a representation you may need to have regard for Nottingham City Council's Licensing Policy
