Why Our DSL Training Is Now Delivered Over Two Days
To provide the best possible learning experience, our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training will now be delivered across two days. This format gives delegates time to absorb key information, reflect on their safeguarding responsibilities, and consider how learning applies within their own setting between sessions.
The revised programme also includes a greater focus on practical application, enabling delegates to explore local safeguarding procedures, referral pathways, and partnership working in more depth. Through case studies, discussions, and scenario-based activities, participants can apply learning to real-life situations and strengthen their confidence in making safeguarding decisions.
By combining theory with practical exercises and a stronger emphasis on local processes, delegates leave better equipped to carry out their DSL role effectively and confidently.
