Nottingham City Homes
We’re working with Nottingham City Housing Services and partners to deliver new homes on several smaller sites across the city. Together, we’re delivering Building a Better Nottingham, the biggest council house building programme in a generation, by creating a mix of much-needed properties, from family homes and apartments to bungalows and independent living communities, for local people in Nottingham.
Together, with Nottingham City Homes we’re:
- Building 17 new homes at Tunstall Drive in Basford, five two-bed houses and 12 one-bed apartments
- Transforming a former shopping precinct at Knights Close in Top Valley into 20 family homes, a retail unit and a parsonage for the local church
- Building 13 two, three and four-bed family homes at the former Marlstones care home site on Aldgate Close in Bulwell
- Planning 20 homes at the former Clifton Miners’ Welfare Club site in the Meadows
Living is building a high-profile landmark development on the outskirts of the Meadows, opposite the Sir John Peace Building on the site of the former Meadows Police Station.
The development will comprise 21 premium new build apartments for market rent, and construction is due to start in summer 2019.
The design of the building will add a contemporary look and feel to the area in line with that of the NG2 business park.
The Sandfield Centre in Lenton and the Day Centre in Bestwood are both former City Council owned sites, which have been sold to private housing developers. Both sites are currently being marketed and further information about these can be found by clicking the following external links:
