Volunteer for Nottingham Youth Justice Service

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for committed, caring people representing the diverse communities throughout Nottingham who are willing to give their time in the role of a Volunteer Panel Member.

Open minded, non-judgemental volunteers who can empathise with and understand a child’s perspective are required to share and actively promote the vision of the Youth Justice Service in tackling youth crime and creating cohesive communities.

We hope you will take this opportunity to join the YJS as a volunteer to develop in this valuable role. Personal rewards reaped from involvement with children in the community are immense, and the scheme will also provide a chance to meet and work with other like-minded people in the local area.

All volunteers must be flexible, fair and committed to equality and anti-discrimination.
