Making Payments at The Post Office

Post Offices will accept payment in cash, by cheque (payable to "Post Office Counters Ltd") or most major debit cards.

You can pay:

• Council Tax
• Housing Rents and Leaseholder Charges
• Business Rates
• Sundry Debtors invoices
• Housing Benefits overpayments
• Estates Rents

You can use this payment method whenever there is a bar code printed on the front of your bill or rent card. Please take care of your documents as should the bar code become damaged it may become unreadable.

A separate receipt will be issued which you can attach to your payment documentation. Please keep all receipts safe. There is no extra charges for this service.
