Consultation Open 01 January 2024 to 05 February 2024Nottingham City Council has begun the consultation process reviewing our Age and Specification and General Specification policies with a view to implementing new conditions within both policies. Both policies can be viewed on the below attachments:
- Current age and specification policy
- Proposed age and specification policy
- Proposed general specification policy
We have included our current Age and Specification Policy. To note the only proposed amendment to conditions on the General Specification Policy is to remove the requirement for a minimum engine size. We welcome the views of operators, drivers and people involved in the licensed trade together with those persons affected by the industry such as residents.
The proposals were approved to be released for consultation by Regulatory and Appeals Committee on the 27th November 2023, with the consultation lasting for a 5 week period commencing on the 1st January 2024.
