About our Organisation
Founded in 2001 by local residents and community leaders, in direct response to socio-economic challenges within our community, OVP aims to strengthen connections and networks locally, making a better place to live.
We engage with our community through the delivery of:
1. Bulwell Arts Festival (July) and Winter Wonderland Festival (Nov/Dec) - promoting well-being, celebrating diversity and creativity, community cohesion and engagement
2. Cradle to Career programme in partnership with NTU - supporting positive educational and career outcomes for young people
3. Employability programme – creating training and employment opportunities for local people
4. Heritage programme – Pots, Pits and People programme.
