Short Description of Organisation 

Founded in 2013, Tick Tock All Stars Nursery provides high-quality, accessible childcare for children aged 6 months to 11 years in Broxtowe, Nottingham. We offer both funded and paid places, including flexible hours to support working and studying parents.

We prioritise families in areas of high deprivation, where early years education and wraparound care greatly impact long-term outcomes. In 2024, we established Tick Tock We Inspire CIC to expand community support, delivering wellbeing, learning, and social initiatives. Through strong partnerships and inclusive events, we foster early development, parental confidence, and lasting community connections.

Summary of planned improvements 

Tick Tock We Inspire CIC operates from our nursery site that supports high-quality early years childcare. To better meet the needs of our growing community, we are planning significant improvements to the building, including a new open-plan layout and rear extension. These changes will create defined, multi-functional spaces for children’s play, learning, and parent engagement.

The new rooms will play a vital role in supporting local families through parenting courses, informal meetings with professionals, and targeted support for those facing complex challenges. Planned upgrades include installing a fully equipped kitchen to host cooking classes, promote healthy eating, and deliver life-skills workshops.

The space will also feature comfortable, modern furnishings and child-friendly elements to create a warm, welcoming environment. Movable partitions will allow flexible use, supporting both private conversations and group activities. A dedicated children’s play area will include sensory and soft-play resources, keeping children engaged while parents access support.

 Additional improvements—such as new flooring and increased storage—will enhance hygiene, safety, and usability. These upgrades will enable us to expand our services, welcome external professionals on-site, and strengthen our role as a trusted community hub, helping to build resilience, confidence, and wellbeing among Broxtowe families,
