About our UKSPF project

High Growth Accelerator 

Strategic support for scaling businesses in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire 

The High Growth Accelerator offers tailored academic and business support to help high-growth enterprises innovate, scale, and grow sustainably.

The programme supports all sectors, with a focus on:

  • Manufacturing & Engineering
  • Green Energy & Technology
  • Creative & Digital Industries

To qualify, businesses must demonstrate 20% annual growth in revenue, employment, or market share over the past three consecutive years.

What’s Included:

Expert Guidance -  Work with our Business Advisers to assess your business’s current position and develop a bespoke growth roadmap with clear objectives and KPIs.

Access to Finance

Apply for grants:

  • Innovation Vouchers (up to £5,000): Access specialist support from university technical innovation centres
  • Talent Grants: (up to £2,000) to recruit students or graduates through internships
  • Growth Grants: Up to £2,000 fully funded or £8,000 at 80% for projects such as market expansion, product development, compliance, and sustainability.

Growth Navigator Workshops

Choose from two pathways:

  • Growth Drivers: For early-stage scale-ups and emerging leaders
  • Growth Builders: For established businesses focusing on strategic leadership and governance

Networking Opportunities & fully subsidised Training Courses 

Join forums, peer networks and training courses to develop skills and connect with other high-growth founders, industry experts, and potential partners.
