Open Arms Organisation CIC will deliver weekly Winter Warmer Community Sessions at Primary Artist Studios, 33 Seely Road, Nottingham NG7 1NU a central and easily accessible venue.
The sessions aim to support vulnerable individuals and families during the cold months by offering warmth, connection, and essential resources. Each session will feature a Warm Welcome Café, providing free hot drinks, culturally diverse meals, and snacks in a safe, heated environment. Attendees can also enjoy indoor games and light activities, such as social games, puzzles, and gentle dance-based movement to promote wellbeing and interaction.
A Cultural Food Sharing & Tasting element will allow participants to connect through traditional dishes, encouraging cultural exchange and reducing reliance on costly meals. The Cost of Living Advice Zone will offer drop-in guidance on budgeting, debt management, and energy-saving, delivered by trained volunteers and local partners. Additionally, an Essential Items Table will provide free donated food, hygiene products, winter clothing, and basic household items.
All sessions are free of charge and operate on a drop-in basis, ensuring accessibility for all and reducing barriers to participation. The project aims to foster inclusion, relieve hardship, and improve wellbeing throughout the winter period.
