Short Description of Organisation 

The Vision of St John's is to be a community of ‘everyday followers of Jesus loving God, each other and Bilborough’. Our goal is to be a church community who has a deep faith, caring relationships and be a blessing to our local community.

We do this through regular Sunday worship services, faith exploration groups and a variety of events offered to meet the needs of our local community, including a weekly community meal open to the whole community to have a nutritious meal and reduce social isolation.

Summary of planned Activity and events

Every Wednesday we open our doors to our local community for a nutritious two-course meal. We offer a warm, welcoming space to build friendships over a meal helping to reduce loneliness, and support wellbeing through building connection and community.
Thanks to our partnership with FareShare, we also provide surplus fruit and vegetables for guests to take home. 

Doors open at 4.30pm and food is served at 5.15pm.

Alongside this regular Wednesday meal we will be cooking lunch on Christmas Day open to all served at 12noon. To book a meal please get in touch
