You are considered homeless if you:

  • Have no home in the UK or elsewhere that you have a legal right to occupy
  • Have a movable home such as a boat or caravan, and there is nowhere it can be placed lawfully
  • You're at risk from harm if you stay in your current home

If you are homeless, we can provide support. Please get in contact with us as soon as possible on 0115 876 3300 (lines open 8.30am – 5pm Monday - Friday). You can also visit us at Housing Solutions, Loxley House, Trent Street, Nottingham, NG2 3NG.

For emergency situations outside of normal office hours, please contact 0115 876 3300. An operative will answer your call and advise you accordingly.

Housing assistance is available to all eligible households.

  • An EEA National exercising your rights
  • A person subject to immigration control who is eligible for housing
  • and that you are homeless or threatened with homelessness

  • Right to reside in the UK
  • Eviction notice
