If you pay your PCN within 14 days of the date of your ticket, you pay the lower amount shown on your ticket. If you pay after 14 days, you pay double that amount. A PCN (not a Notice to Owner) that has been served through the post has a discount period of 21 days.

You will need to provide clear photographs of the kerb markings. Your photographs should include the kerb markings and the location of where your vehicle was issued with the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

We may consider your challenge if both Penalty Charge Notices (PCN) were:

  • issued on the same day
  • issued on the same street
  • issued under the same contravention.

You will need to provide:

  • Your vehicle registration
  • The NG reference number printed on both Penalties

If you think that your vehicle has been cloned, you must report this to the police as soon as possible.

You will need to provide us with evidence that it was not you or your vehicle that was present when the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) was issued:

  • A colour photo showing the make and model of the vehicle
  • A colour photo showing the vehicle registration number of the vehicle
  • A police crime reference number related to the cloning of your vehicle.
