Nottingham City Council is consulting on future options for its Council Tax Support scheme which helps households on low incomes with their Council Tax bill.

Bus passengers can continue to travel for £2 per single journey.
The £2 single bus fare cap will remain in place until the end of December 2024. However, please be aware that this fare may not apply to all services, so it is advisable to check before you travel.


Bus Park and Rides

With nine sites across the network and over 6,500 spaces available, Park & Ride in to Nottingham City Centre for just £6 per car with Nottingham City Transport only.

Tram Park and Rides

5000 free parking spaces across 7 park and ride sites. Parking is free for users of the Tram system with a valid ticket.

  • Clifton Park and Ride; NG11 8BF
  • Forest Park and Ride (Goose Fair site) NG7 6AQ
  • Hucknall Park and Ride: NG15 7TD
  • Moor Bridge Park and Ride: NG6 8AE
  • Phoenix Park. Park and Ride: NG8 6AS
  • Toton Lane Park and Ride: NG9 7JA
  • Wilkinson Street Park and Ride: Tram service (includes the Medilink 2 which also travels between Queen's Drive Park and Ride and the QMC and City Hospitals)

Pocket Park and Ride sites

In addition to the nine above, there are two pocket Park and Ride sites near the A52 and Cotgrave:

  • Cotgrave at Cotgrave Miners Welfare
  • Stragglethorpe at Shepherds Restaurant off the A52, postcode: NG12 2JZ

Fares and Parking

Tram Parking Note: Parking is free for users of the NET system with a valid ticket. If you are parking in one of our park-and-ride sites, you must have a valid tram ticket from the point of parking. For more information:

The park and ride sites in Nottingham are all intended for daily use only. We cannot give you permission to park overnight in any of the sites and if you leave your car at anytime of the day or night, you do so at your own risk.

Have peace of mind when you leave your car at either Queens Drive Park and Ride or The Racecourse by using our free car care scheme. The two sites are patrolled by park and ride attendants, are monitored by CCTV and have been awarded the Park Mark Safer Parking Award for safety and security.
