Notice of Substantial Road Works for Road Purposes

Notice is hereby given that Nottingham City Council intends to carry out substantial works for road purposes on London Road, Nottingham.

Subject to exemptions in the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and regulations under it, no Street Works may be executed within the prescribed restriction period.

The Streets in which these works will take place are:

• London Road, Nottingham (USRN 29001151). (From the south side of the Station St junction up to and including up to Canal St and Lower Parliament Street around the BBC Island).

Works will affect substantial areas of: Carriageway & cycleway

Works are expected to commence on: 14^th December 2022

Proposed completion date: 14^th February 2023

Restriction period: 36 months (8^th August 2026)
