Vehicle collection from the Nottingham Vehicle Pound is strictly by appointment only, it is therefore advisable for those collecting a vehicle to contact the vehicle pound using the number below to make an appointment.

We aim to make this process as easy and stress free as possible, please extend us the same courtesy.  We aim to answer all your questions and concerns. If you cannot keep your appointment, or are running more than 15 minutes late, please let us know, so we can release the slot for other customers, and reschedule your appointment.  

Vehicle release information for Parking contraventions

The release fee will be the cost of the Penalty Charge Notice (£25, £35, £50 or £70) and the Removal fee of £105. Storage fees of (£12 per day) are also charged if the vehicle is left at the pound more than 24 hours. 

Please note under normal operating policies a vehicle will not be released until the full outstanding balance has been paid.

Payments can be made by credit/debit card in person at the vehicle pound using Chip and Pin.  Cash will also be accepted but please ensure you have the exact amount to release your vehicle as change is not available.

Citizens wishing to collect their vehicle must make an appointment and have, in addition to the vehicle key (which must open it), two forms of identification, one from each section detailed below:-

Photographic Identification

• Driving License
• Passport

Proof of Address

• Bank Statement – Can be an online statement.
• Utility Bill
• Council Tax Bill
• V5C Vehicle Registration Documents

Proof of Vehicle insurance

Certificate of insurance showing the names of those insured to drive the vehicle.

Please note: Bills/statements must be no more than three months old.
