Notice of Substantial Road Works for Road Purposes

Notice is hereby given that Nottingham City Council intends to carry out substantial works for road purposes in Arnold Rd, Edwards and Oxclose Lane, Bestwood, Nottingham.

Subject to exemptions in the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and regulations under it, no Street Works may be executed within the prescribed restriction period.

The Streets in which these works will take place are: (Click to download and View)

• Arnold Road (USRN 29014332) - (From no 518 to junction of Edwards Lane / Oxclose Lane.)
• Edwards Lane (USRN 29014702) - (From Beckhampton Road to junction of Oxclose Lane / Arnold Road)
• Oxclose Lane (USRN 29020352) - (From no 34 to junction of Edwards Lane / Arnold Road)

Works will affect substantial areas of:  Carriageway

Works are expected to commence on: 6th January 2025

Proposed completion date:  30th July 2025

Restriction period:   36 months (30th July 2028)
