Section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 requires every public authority to adopt and maintain a Publication Scheme. Nottingham City Council have based our Publication Scheme on the Information Commissioner Office (ICO) Model Publication Scheme.

What information do we need to publish? | ICO

The Publication Scheme sets out the Council’s commitment to proactively publish information. Not all information the Council holds or publishes is detailed in our publication scheme. Contact the Freedom of Information team to request access to any information that is not routinely published.

Please note that there are currently no charges for accessing on-line content included within our Publication Scheme.

The Council’s Publication Scheme consists of seven classes of information

Many of the council's policies and procedures can be found on the Council website https://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/.
